๐ŸŒท Norfolk tulips ๐ŸŒท

๐Ÿณ๏ธโ€๐ŸŒˆ Just outside Norwich, fields that donโ€™t really feel like the UK. Rows and rows of colour stretching out in every direction.

๐Ÿ’ Happening for a limited run in April (16โ€“27, with a short midweek break), this is your chance to wander through over 9 million tulips spread across 20 acres.

๐Ÿ’Œ Itโ€™s one of the only places in the UK where you can actually walk through working tulip fields like this, and itโ€™s all in support of a local hospice.

๐Ÿ“ The fields move location each year, this time set near Sandringham just off the A148. Youโ€™ll get the exact spot after booking, and itโ€™s worth noting youโ€™ll need to drive as thereโ€™s no public transport access.

โฐ๏ธ Definitely one to catch while it lasts.
๐Ÿ’พ Save this for your next tulip adventure!
๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ Adult admission is ยฃ10.00 each. Children aged 5 to 16 - ยฃ5 each. Under 5s are free.
๐Ÿš— Parking charge of ยฃ2.50 per car.

๐ŸŒผ Spring suits Castle Combe. Not quite summer, not really winter. Just that quiet in-between where everything feels slightly paused.

โ˜๏ธ The stone looks softer in this light, almost glowing against the grey. The river moves slowly under the bridge, carrying bits of the pale sky with it. The gardens aren't quite awake yet, but you can tell theyโ€™re thinking about it; just a few early flowers, nothing showy.

๐ŸŒฟ Everything is stripped back to its bones. You notice the tilt of a chimney or the way the lichen clings to the bridgeโ€”details that usually get lost in the summer bustle.

๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ It feels less like a postcard and more like a sanctuary. You find yourself walking through it more quietly than usual, almost without deciding to. Just damp paths, woodsmoke, and the sense that this place is in no hurry to change. ๐Ÿชตโœจ

โ“๏ธ Do you prefer visiting these famous spots when theyโ€™re in full bloom, or do you like this stripped-back, honest version of the countryside? ๐Ÿ‘‡๐Ÿ’ฌ
