🌷 Norfolk tulips 🌷

🏳️‍🌈 Just outside Norwich, fields that don’t really feel like the UK. Rows and rows of colour stretching out in every direction.

💐 Happening for a limited run in April (16–27, with a short midweek break), this is your chance to wander through over 9 million tulips spread across 20 acres.

💌 It’s one of the only places in the UK where you can actually walk through working tulip fields like this, and it’s all in support of a local hospice.

📍 The fields move location each year, this time set near Sandringham just off the A148. You’ll get the exact spot after booking, and it’s worth noting you’ll need to drive as there’s no public transport access.

🌷 1.5 million tulips are fully out! 🎉

🌈 Rows of colour stretching further than the eye can see 👀: soft pinks 🩷, deep reds ❤️, bright yellows 💛, all layered under clear blue skies. ☀️

🌄 The paths wind through it all so you're constantly finding a new view, a new patch, a different mix of colours.

📸 One of those places that looks good in photos, but even better when you're actually standing in it. 🥹

🤩 Plus, there's so much more going on than just the flowers: 🎶 live acoustic music, 🎡 an observation wheel, 🌿 the Secret Garden, plus Dutch-inspired food 🧇 and plenty of sweet treats. 🍭

🏞 The Cotswold Way is a 102-mile (164 km) National Trail that runs along the Cotswold Edge escarpment in England, stretching from the market town of Chipping Campden in the north to the Roman city of Bath in the south. 📍 Cotswolds, England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

🌼 Spring suits Castle Combe. Not quite summer, not really winter. Just that quiet in-between where everything feels slightly paused.

☁️ The stone looks softer in this light, almost glowing against the grey. The river moves slowly under the bridge, carrying bits of the pale sky with it. The gardens aren't quite awake yet, but you can tell they’re thinking about it; just a few early flowers, nothing showy.

🌿 Everything is stripped back to its bones. You notice the tilt of a chimney or the way the lichen clings to the bridge—details that usually get lost in the summer bustle.

🕰️ It feels less like a postcard and more like a sanctuary. You find yourself walking through it more quietly than usual, almost without deciding to. Just damp paths, woodsmoke, and the sense that this place is in no hurry to change. 🪵✨
