So I am super excited to announce that mine and Scott Hayes musical ‘Sheltered’ has managed to beat out around 350 other pitches to be part of the BEAM new musical showcase this year in May @ the Birmingham Hippodrome.

We have been working away for the last four years, creating what we believe to be the most honest, relatable, gritty, funny and true to life musical ever. There’s not a jazz hand in sight, no frills, no fluff.

It’s not finished yet, but we’re on the way to making something not only really special, that truly represents the working class and our lives. But also, something both of us are immensely proud of.

We won our first pitch to get us in the showcase, and now we need to do the second. A pitch entirely for industry folk that could potentially invest into the future of this show. If you know anyone who you think would be good to have in the audience please let me know!
