Receiving widespread acclaim last year, in 2025 he returns to Opera North as Papageno The Magic Flute, before first visits to Garsington Festival covering the role of Dulcamara L’Elisir D’Amore, and Waterperry Festival performing Leporello Don Giovanni. He ends the year with English Touring Opera, performing the role of Dulcamara The Elixir of Love, and Collatinus The R**e of Lucrtia.

Dafydd Allen - High Priest of Neptune
Dafydd Allen was a Welsh National Opera Associate Artist for their 2022/23 Season. He studied at the Royal College of Music as a Baritone, graduating with a distinction in his Master of Performance.
Recent Highlight include Don José in Bizet/Peter Brook’s La Tragédie De Carmen at Wexford Festival Opera, La Rose in Gazzaniga’s L’isola D’Alcina for Bampton Classical Opera and covering Alfred in Die Fledermaus at the Grange Festival

Sea Tester - Arbace
Irish tenor Seán Tester first discovered his love of performance at the Drogheda School of Performing Arts (the Little Duke Theatre), where he immersed himself in drama, dance, and singing. Alongside theatre, he cultivated a deep connection to choral music as a member of St. Peter’s Male Voice Choir, an experience that shaped his musical instincts and ensemble sensibility.

Praised for her “idiomatic and stylish singing” (The Telegraph) British mezzo-soprano Frances Gregory is a recent graduate of Royal Academy Opera and a former Rising Star of the Orchestra of the Age of Enlightenment, with whom she sang Elgar’s Sea Pictures at Queen Elizabeth Hall, Southbank Centre, conducted by Dinis Souza. The 25/26 season sees her as Luna in Tales Untapped: A Rotherham Opera for The Royal Ballet and Opera, Cherubino Le Nozze di Figaro at Opera North, and Idamante Idomeneo with Chelsea Opera Group at Cadogan Hall. For the Buxton International Festival she sings Annio La Clemenza di Tito and Flora Bervoix La Traviata. Concert highlights include Mary L’enfance du Christ with Cambridge Philharmonic, Messiah with Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra and The Angel in Elgar’s The Dream of Gerontius at Hexham Cathedral.

Hailing from Monmouth, British-Irish tenor Andrew Henley studied at the Royal Welsh College of Music & Drama and is a graduate of the National Opera Studio. He is the winner of the 2025 Pendine International Voice of the Future Award at the Llangollen International Eisteddfod, the 2019 Dunraven Young Welsh Singer of the Year and the 2023 John Scott Award from Scottish Opera.
