The emotional atmosphere of a classroom impacts how your child feels. Emotional emotions are contagious. This is when they might be either wanting to distract themselves (avoid) or have a meltdown (release). Did you know that the children who might be struggling to regulate or stay calm might be letting you know that they are feeling stressed? Stressed brains canβt learn and retain information. Children need connection to calm before they can correct themselves.
