Family Rights Group is taking part in this year’s London Legal Walk on Tuesday 9th June.

A team of staff, trustees, friends and supporters will hit London's pavements to raise money for justice. If you are able to make a donation of any size we would be very grateful - all funds support our vital advice service for families involved in the child welfare and family justice system.

Thank you! 👣

In this vlog to promote our film for parents with learning difficulties and disabilities we hear from Kyle, a member of Family Rights Group’s parents’ panel.

Kyle talks about:
• his experience of how difficult it can be for families to understand the language that social workers use, and
• how the film is designed to help parents with learning difficulties and disabilities understand what they should be able to expect, when a child and family social worker becomes involved in their child’s life.

Kyle also shares how seeing our film might have helped him.

In case you missed it!
Our film, created with and for parents with learning difficulties and disabilities, has an important aim: to help parents understand what to expect when a child and family social worker becomes involved in their child’s life.

We're proud to share this special vlog from Vicky. Vicky stars in the film and is also a committee member at Speakup, a self advocacy group run by and for people with learning difficulties and autistic people, who partnered with Family Rights Group to create the film.

In this vlog, Vicky talks about helping shape the script, taking part in the filming, and why this resource is so important for parents with learning difficulties and disabilities who are working with child and family social workers.
