Exhibition ! University of Westminster MA Photography Show 2017 Private View: 1st September 6:30 - 8:30 pm. Exhibitions: 23rd August - 5th September 12 - 7 pm (Closed Monday 28th August) Ambika P3, University of Westminster 35 Marylebone Road London, NW1 5LS London, UK (nearest tube: Baker Street) ________ Featured artist: .cylwik project 'Lost Futures' where Jan has fashioned a unique way of looking back at the social tectonics of ideologies and our desire to hold onto their promised futures. The spectres of ideologies appear out of their time as nostalgia for ideas, images, and ideals of a past age which now grate and creek against the joints of the present. Spectres are what one imagines, what one thinks one sees and projects on an imaginary blank screen when there is nothing to see. http://ift.tt/2wPEiHg _________ Two exhibitions will be on display: Light into Matter from students on the Photography Arts MA and Out of Dust from the Documentary Photography and Photojournalism MA. Admission free. Donations welcome through Just Giving!
