Argus has introduced the first methanol-to-jet cost indexes, covering nine major global production locations. The new weekly prices follow ASTM International approval of the methanol-to-jet pathway for producing e-SAF, supporting airlines and fuel suppliers as they advance decarbonisation strategies.

With EU mandates set to require e-SAF blending from 2030 and the UK from 2028, transparent and reliable pricing is becoming increasingly important for compliance and investment.
