We are thrilled to announce that last night we won a BIMA award for our work with UCL. We couldn't be prouder of this achievement and the work we've done along with Zensar 🎉

The are the UK’s longest standing and most prestigious and awards, recognising the work in the British digital sector that is truly pushing the limits of what is possible, making a difference in business, culture and society.

To celebrate Foolproof turning 20 years old this month, we are sharing some treasures from our archives 🎁

Yesterday we shared Foolproof’s first office, and first paycheck. Today, let's fast forward a few years to 2004. We got a few more clients, a few more pay checks, and finally outgrew the Portakabin. After a brief stop at an office in Cavell House, we moved in to our forever home at Seebohm House, where we remain to this day. If you look closely you can see an earlier iteration of Freya Ballard overseeing things - much as she does today!

As the years go by we continue to expand, conducting our first international research in Hong Kong, the US, Canada and France. We also decided it was time to open a London office in 2006, on Folgate Street. Over the next few years, we flirt with a couple of other offices around London before returning to Folgate Street in 2017 ❤️

This month, Foolproof turns 20 years old 🎂

To celebrate, we’d like to share some things from the archives with you, and go back in time to 2002, the humble beginnings of Foolproof.

Our very first office was this Portakabin, tucked away in the back garden of a local design agency, Soup. Tom Wood & Peter Ballard called in help from friends and family to spruce the place up a bit, all ready for potential new clients to visit.

And visit they did! Here’s proof, in the form of Foolproof’s first pay check. Looks legit.

Being a teenager can be a challenging time, not least because of the many decisions which can shape your future. It can help to know what some of your options are.

That’s why, this past weekend, five of our Foolproof team hosted a great online session with a group of 50 children aged 14-17 to provide an overview of some of the different career possibilities available to them 🧑‍💻

We talked about a variety of industries, and shared what it takes to be successful in each of them. For example, the many roles taking off in aviation 🛫
