Ash’s covers are always masterpieces, and it is easy to see why he is so sought after as a cover designer as well as being a prolific author. I received a copy of Gluttony because I am a Patreon subscriber and devoured the whole Summer of Sin series. My two favourite books are Gluttony and Pride.

What hooked me on Gluttony was the wonderfully dark, self-deprecating humour. We have a classic villain protagonist who could easily have been a one-dimensional character, if she had not been elevated to the heady heights of one of my favourite characters through Ash’s trademark wit.

The Suffering by David Sodergren was gross, disturbing, filthy, and dark.

Absolutely brilliant.

I consider myself a veteran of extreme horror and splatterpunk, and I was wincing in several places. I also learnt that it is possible to wince while grinning. You just look like you are having a stroke.
