Last night marked our Kev’s very last karaoke — and, as always, he was absolutely amazing!
We just want to take a moment to thank the most incredible, kind-hearted entertainer we've ever had the pleasure of working with. Kev, you're a true legend. You wear so many hats — charity fundraiser, DJ, producer, drag queen, karaoke host, shoulder to cry on — and you wear them all with such grace, humour, and heart.
You've helped countless people come out of their shells simply by being unapologetically you and showing the local community that it’s more than okay to be yourself. The number of lives you’ve touched since being here is endless — and so is the size of your heart.
Thank you for being such a beautiful part of our team, Kev. Every single one of us loves you to bits. 💖

Tonight marks the very last Open Stage hosted by our dear friend and host, Horace Innis, here at The Duke of York.
This incredible night was originally founded by the legendary Doug Stephens and Rose Eyre, who helped shape it into the vibrant event it is today. Later, Horace joined and poured his heart and soul into growing it into one of Hanwell’s most beloved musical traditions. His dedication has brought so much joy and connection to us all.
The Duke of York has been a true haven for live music, poetry, and creativity. We are deeply grateful to every single singer, musician, band, and poet who has graced this stage and supported this night week after week. You’ve made it unforgettable.
While we say goodbye to this chapter, we’re excited to begin a new one — just across the road! Join us at our new venue, The King’s Arms, starting October 16th, 2025.
The music lives on — and we hope you’ll be there with us. 🎶
