London Cocktail Week

On Redchurch Street, Chiave is a relaxed-yet-refined cocktail bar where design, music, and hospitality move in sync, from candlelit window seats to easy-going group tables.

A bespoke hi-fi sound system and DJs spinning late turn the room into a low-lit, cosy space that gently shifts from conversation to dancing as the night goes on.

For London Cocktail Week, they poured Golden Slumbers - , London dry gin, mastiha, chamomile & saffron cordial, finished with an aromatic bitters float.

Cinco is a laid-back love letter to Mexican drinking culture - a standalone cocktail bar where agave takes centre stage, backed up by small plates from their sibling restaurant Corrochio.

For London Cocktail Week, they served two signature drinks - Grafigrapa, a bright, gently bitter mix of Ocho blanco tequila, nectarine liqueur and Italian aperitivo topped with a grapefruit soda foam; and El Octavo Alquimista, a richer, more herbal tequila sour with Ocho reposado tequila, Suze, Alma Finca orange liqueur, lemon and sugar syrup.

Here, you can expect thoughtful flavour pairings, a deep respect for Mexican spirits, and a space that feels more neighbourhood haunt than hype bar - the kind of place you pop into “for one” and end up staying far longer than planned!
