Lovely microphones to use.. Have been using them in almost every session really. Mainly for cymbal mics and rooms. But you can use them on anything you like: acoustic guitars, vocals, etc.. if it seems right with the music go for it. Like most pencil condensers, they're very directional and can present a very accurate stereo field as stereo pairs. Once again because of that they might be just what you want or maybe not, why? Because music. You might decide you want a 'thrashier' overhead sound that blends in with the kit in a different way. In that case go for a large diaphragm. No rules if it sounds good, it sounds good. Best wishes.

It was a pleasure being apart of recording the band Lucca's new album which they flew all the way from spain to do this with us. But this is how our crew looked like for the past two days as the other two members flew back after smashing their takes. Now all we have left is the guitarrist and vocalists here surviving on orange juice and pizza. This Sunday we close the recording stage! Well atleast with us, since they will be recording also brass, strings and piano back in spain. All the luck! It was amazing!
