We loved catching up with Mobina Rajabimoghadam from Biorecursive at SDS26.
She introduced us to an innovative material developed from organic waste, designed to be both high-performing and truly compostable. Strong enough to withstand significant pressure and temperatures of up to 450°C, the material can be used across a range of surface, interior and lighting applications. It can also be laser cut, engraved, printed and embroidered, offering designers remarkable creative flexibility.
While durable enough for everyday use, the material is designed to safely return to the earth at the end of its lifecycle, helping to regenerate natural systems and support a more sustainable future.
