Every time I think I've had enough "pinch me" moments... another comes along *enter Gamescom*. Not only because it's a first for me, but because when I found gaming, events like were where I wished I could be. 👧🏻💭

Fast forward to now, I can't believe I get to create content in a room with the best of everything in the - studios, publishers, manufacturers, recruiters (😉), creators (🙋🏻‍♀️), gamers and games. For (sappier) context, the industry that started it all with the PS1 and Crash Bandicoot when I was 4.

As I said all week, excitement is an understatement - currently forcing myself to meditate and drink decaffeinated tea to cope (unsuccessfully).

And the excitement for gamescom continues with a focus on what 🧑🏼‍💻 about attending . 🫶

As this is ’s "first Gamescom", he's "super excited". Having been to "several industry events over the years" to "finally tick the world's largest gaming event off my list" is incredible! 🧨💥

Adding, "to represent both, and " is something else. If that isn't enough, he's "also looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and getting to know the new ones that visit our stand in the UKIE area" this year. 📍

As excitement builds up to the day, the team's vocalising what excites them most about gamescom 2022. 🗣💥🎮

Tom here is no stranger to , having visited in 2019 (not at all jealous). So, what would this year's event add to his nicely formed bucket list? 

🕋: to return to Köln and re-immerse himself in this huge event.
🎮: new game showcases - without repeating the mistake of queueing 4 hours as he did at the Cyberpunk stand.
🌍: meeting new people in the from all over the world.
🍒 🔛 🔝: finding familiar faces in the massive arena.
