What is Active Support?

Active Support is a way to help people with learning disabilities be more involved in their own daily lives and changes how we support people. It recognises the skills people already have and helps them do things they enjoy or try new, exciting activities.

Bild offers two programmes for learners looking to learn more about Active Support and what it is, and for those looking to become practice leaders in Active Support.

Learning Disability England is running a survey to learn more about who our individual members are. This is called a census survey.

An Individual Membership is a type of membership for one person on their own. Not part of an organisation membership.

If you have an individual membership, please fill out the survey so we can learn more about you.

Rebecca is taking on Ironman Tallinn to raise money for Generate , a charity that gives young people with a learning disability and neurodivergent children (and adults) life-changing experiences like residential trips and inclusive adventures.
