In today's work-from-home-dominated times, a traditional 9 - 5 has somewhere been forgotten.

Companies that offer work from home have employees from all over the world, in these situations how are job timings kept - a 9 to 5 UK time might mean that it is 5 am for certain employees and 2 pm for some.

How can employees from all over the words work at the same time?

Here are our top 2 ideas and thoughts -

1. Have a morning & a night shift where possible - This will help work be done throughout the day and would give an employee a set schedule instead of working random hours through the day. This will also help with work given to the night shift being received in the morning and vice - versa

2. Group people in teams on timezones - If a night shift is not required, grouping people into timezones would be beneficial as they'd have a sense of having a team, and problem-solving would be more convenient as well! This is helpful if you have a team from different time zones that you can't categorize simply into day and night.

We want to know what you think! Do you believe everyone should have the same work timings? Should they be divided as we suggested or should employees suggest their timings?
