Next week Thursday 1st September, acclaimed historian Professor Hakim Adi will be doing an exclusive presentation, Q&A and book signing event to celebrate the release of his latest book: African and Caribbean People in Britain: A History.

The book is a Black people's history of Britain that will transform our understanding of this country's past. It demonstrates that from the moment humans first stood on this rainy isle, there have been African and Caribbean men and women set at Britain's heart.
