Golf is a skill based sport but what would you say if I recommended you increased your strength and conditioning to maximise your aquisition of said skill?🏌🏻♂️
It’s really simple, if you can increase your ceiling of capacity it will give you a greater foundation to apply said skill as it will reduce when you start to fatigue.
Fatigue changes how you move and also increases your risk of injury.
So, to be better conditioned allows you to expend less physical effort allowing to you to really embed the skill part.
It means you can practice and play at a higher level, for longer.
Who wouldn’t want that? 💪🏻

Flexibility won’t cut it…
The less range of motion a joint has the more you will be forcing the motion into the direction you are moving = increased injury risk/overuse patterns.
Over time this will most likely cause you some troubles.
Flexibility alone is useless as it’s just passive range.
Mobility on the other hand is the ability to control those ranges of movement.
So tell me, at what point in life/activity/sport does a joint require to be passively stretched?
Simple biology tells us that you are unable to access ranges of motion you don’t have or use.
