As the very first school in Hammersmith & Fulham to receive books through our ‘Gift a Read’ initiative, every single child went home with a brand new book of their very own.

In 2026, the National Year of Reading, moments like these remind us exactly why we do this. The smiles, the excitement, the children hugging their books… pure magic.

We want to do this for ALL 35 primary schools in the borough- 8,500 children deserve a book of their own.
