Open Ownership

In our latest working paper, Maria Jofre and Tymon Kiepe examine how shareholder information can be leveraged to strengthen and improve understanding corporate structures or networks.

Drawing on two case studies in and , the paper outlines how high-quality, centralised shareholder data can support beneficial ownership regimes by enabling verification; reducing compliance burdens and costs; and avoiding duplication of information.
