A corner of heaven

Autumn....
A gust of wind shakes free a swirl of red, orange, and yellow leaves from the oak's bare branches. They twirl softly down to the ground, covering the grass under the tree's towering trunk with autumn's palette. Crunching underfoot, the vibrant foliage carpets the earth before the chill of winter arrives.
