It is disappointing that some of our religious leaders do not have the humility and compassion to allow someone wearing slippers into the mosque. A mosque is a house of worship where everyone should feel welcome, regardless of their appearance or what they are wearing. While respecting the sanctity of the mosque is important, kindness, understanding, and guidance should always come before judgment.
