In 1 Kings 10 Solomon is this amazing evangelist who dazzles the Queen of Sheba with his worship of the one true God. We might just say that the Queen left Jerusalem converted to Solomon’s God.
Now in chapter 11 we see a Solomon promoting other gods.
After been a promoter of the one true God and achieving success, he turns round to betray the same cause he once stood for. How is that possible?
Apostle Paul summed it up this way, “But I discipline my body and keep it under control, lest after preaching to others I myself should be disqualified.” 1 Corinthians‬ ‭9:27‬ ‭ESV‬‬
