Protein Chocolate Mousse:

If you’re trying to make a few healthier swaps without feeling like you’re missing out, this one is well worth saving.

This chocolate mousse is rich, smooth and genuinely delicious, but instead of being made with double cream, it’s made with silken tofu.

All you need:
• Silken tofu - 1 300g pack
• Melted chocolate - 100g 70% dark
• 2 tbsp maple syrup
• A squeeze of fresh orange half an orange (or more if you want it more orangey or none at all if you don’t like the combination)!

Blend until silky smooth, chill for a couple of hours and that’s it.

No, it’s not “diet food”. It’s simply a way to enjoy a chocolate dessert with a little more protein and a little less saturated fat than a traditional mousse. Perfect if you want something sweet after your Shabbat meal without feeling uncomfortably full.
