LONDON 😱 We’re so thrilled to bring The Great Chevalier to this spring season 💥💥💥✨✨✨🔥🔥🔥🌹🌹💗💗😱😱🫶🫶🫶

For the next two weeks I am so lucky to be working at on a new solo project very close to my heart : The Pigeon Dance 🐦 - premiere at in nov 2026!

It’s a first on many levels: the first solo I will be peforming myself 😳 and my first collaboration with for the music composition, which I am so excited about - I can’t wait to see what we will create together 😱. I am also very excited about working with on costume and stage, who I first worked with on LCDS grad shows 🐦🪶🦤🪶🐦🐦‍🔥🌊🌊🌊

The Pigeon Dance centres around a pigeon’s fantasies of being crushed by a goat. It is a piece about searching for proof of one’s own existence and the vertiginous desire to be worshipped, crushed and fu**ed. It speaks of undoing, transformation, generational pain, and of a desperate wish not to be afraid. I’m impatient to see the form this will take.

I am also so grateful to be surrounded by friends and trusted collaborators Renelde Pierlot 🤍 who supports me with so much empathy and love in the rehearsal process these weeks, .cope.92 the fantastical dramaturg with whom I collaborate since 2021 (Empire of a Faun Imaginary, The Great Chevalier). + Lighting design by the magical person that is who has collaborated on/created the lighting designs for The Passion of Andrea 2 and Empire of a Faun Imaginary.

It was not easy to take the leap to embark on this solo project, but I know it is right, I am so excited to start, and I can’t believe what an inspiring team of people have agreed to accompany me on this journey.
