I spent last week in Sofia. Squeezing in business meetings, a conference, and a computer graphics community gathering.

Shout out to the team at visualisation production giant, . Thanks, and .d.rashkov for being so welcoming and sharing your vision. The visualisation world may be surprised by what you’ve built in Sofia and how much you care for your people. I’m truly impressed by the construction of your massive new studio. I look forward to the opening party next year. 🙌

It’s been 3 years since I met up with the Chaos team in Sofia, and to be honest, a lot has changed since my last visit. Attending the Chaos Connect days 2025 conference gave me a chance to connect in person with many industry folks from across the world, many of whom I’ve known for years. Thank you, , Kali and Nadia, for the invite, your tireless hospitality, and your passion and dedication in supporting our ‘high-end’ visualisation community. I’m interested to see where Chaos goes from here.

Finally, a massive shout-out to all the Sofia 3D folks from the local industry meetup, CGBG, organised by Hristo
It was a wonderful night, full of positive energy. I loved the venue and the vibe. Everyone was welcoming, friendly and supportive. Your community may be smaller than London, but I saw we share the same values, commitment, and dreams. If anyone is passing through Sofia, and into CGI. It’s a must.

BTW, don’t expect selfie pics from me…what goes on tour, stays on tour.
