I found stepping away from playing competitive sport very difficult. It offered routine, goals and targets were given to us (literally!), training was organised, meal plans were set out.

If you didn’t feel like training, guess what; your peers will give you a gentle nudge to turn up. Accountability came in droves, from coach’s, trainers, staff, supporters, team-mates and old-mate down the road.

Essentially, playing sport had a system where all you had to do was turn up and apply yourself. And blimey, it spat out some tremendous athletes who have graced our screens.

Over the past 18months, I’ve been studying and fine tuning what makes me click (not chasing championships nor a starting spot no-more) & clients tick beyond just turning up for a session.

First step is finding the “sweet spot”. Your sweet spot is your DNA that is unqiue to you that no one can duplicate.
