Profhilo® is a unique skin remodelling treatment which works by stimulating the body’s own production of collagen and elastin via the slow release of Hyaluronic Acid. Unlike dermal fillers, Profhilo® works on reversing the signs of ageing at a cellular level, dispersing evenly throughout the skin to significantly improve skin health and the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles on the whole face, and not just a localised area.

Profhilo has a few ways it can be administered, our practitioners always fully personalise each and every Profhilo treatment but the most common technique is the BAP technique. The BAP technique (Bio Aesthetic Points) are 5 injection areas on each side of the face, with a main focus on the lower part of the face. The reason we inject the face in this technique is to minimise discomfort but maximise efficiency.

MYTH: If you stop getting anti-wrinkle treatment, your wrinkles will get worse.

In contrast to how smooth your skin will be while getting Bobo (clinics aren’t allowed to name the real name on social media😅), it might seem like it’s gotten worse once you stop, but really, it’s just resumed the same muscle position as prior to receiving treatment. Once you start getting anti-wrinkle treatment, it will relax the muscles so the wrinkles seem to disappear. Even though they don’t actually disappear and normal development of wrinkles, with muscle movement will resume once it wears off… and they won’t be any worse.
