The Government of Liberia, through the Ministry of Transport, has officially launched a new family of motor vehicle license plates in Monrovia.

The launch the ministry said is aimed at improving vehicle identification, public safety, and law enforcement across the country.

The ministry says it fulfills a long-standing requirement to introduce new license plates every five years.

The measure, according to the Ministry of Transpirt, is in line with the vehicle and traffic law of Liberia and the administrative regulations of the Ministry .

A young woman whose pictures circulated on social media yesterday, identified as Ma-Lois D. Cheyee, was found last night along the beach in the Marshall area. She was unconscious, and it is alleged that she had been injected with substances.
Ma-Lois received emergency treatment at a nearby local clinic, after which arrangements were made to transfer her to a hospital for a full medical assessment. Thank you to everyone for your prayers. Let us continue to pray for her speedy and full recovery.
