Let’s take a moment to congratulate this super talented former Treader!
is currently on screen in the BBC’s latest Liverpool based drama The Cage🌟 Acting alongside Sheridan Smith, this is Anton’s first major role after graduating from the Central School of Speech and Drama .
We are so proud to see Anton reaching great success after committing to Tread since the tiny age of 4💜 (literally joining us on day one in 2007!) Anton continued training and performing with Tread up until he auditioned and was offered a place at Drama school in London. Anton will always be a huge part of the Tread family having only recently revisited our students and supporting them in our showcase last year, some of whom he still remembers performing alongside when they were much younger💜🌟
We are so proud of all your hard work and dedication to pursue your career as an actor Anton! Keep climbing that mountain 🤣 (in reference to this song, once Anton’s solo as he climbed the beanstalk in 2017🤣)

We are delighted to welcome back the incredibly talented and lovely Lauren Grace Black who has recently joined our Tread Staffordshire team.
Lauren is a former Tread student herself and went on to pursue her career by training at the London School of Musical Theatre. Since graduating in 2024, Lauren has been managing a company called West End MT, teaching Performing Arts to students across the UK. Lauren also works as a professional vocalist. She is so excited to return to Tread as part of our teaching team and says “Tread is where I first started developing my love for Musical Theatre into a professional craft. I felt like I was set up so well for the professional working industry, I gained so much knowledge, so many friends and it was ran with so much professionalism and high expectations that I loved meeting every week and developing my skills that took me to the next step in my career”
