The Holy Spirit is not an “it”, but a person.
John 14:15-17a NLT
“If you love me, obey my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. He is the Holy Spirit.”
Another helper, advocate…just like the first. If it is another just like the first, then it is like Jesus, and therefore the Holy Spirit is not an “it” but rather a person. To talk to the Holy Spirit, we must view Him as a person.
2. He will come when He is priority.
He gives His followers a command (wait) with a promise (you will receive).
Wait and you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon and you will be my witnesses-telling people everywhere about me. And they made his command and the promise a priority.
“They all met together and were constantly united in prayer, along with Mary the mother of Jesus, several other women, and the brothers of Jesus.” Acts 1:14 NLT
Join us this Sunday @ 11am as we continue the series about the Holy Spirit. Come early for coffee @ 10am.

Join us for A World in Colour, a vibrant solo exhibition by autistic Wirral-based artist Alex Baldwin, featuring imaginative artworks inspired by countries across five continents.
Using coloured pencil and pen, Alex creates bold and detailed artworks shaped by research, imagination, and cultural connection. Inspired by wildlife, landmarks, flags, and places around the world, each piece offers a colourful interpretation of global culture and friendship.
A unique part of Alex’s artistic practice is his ongoing “art missions”—sending artworks around the world with friends, travellers, and contacts to build connections across distance. Alex now has photographic evidence of his art reaching over 76 countries and 86 territories, and this worldwide journey continues to grow.
