A statement of intent from our new Head Coach!

“I’m delighted to be joining Sefton Rugby Club as Head Coach and becoming part of what I believe is one of the most exciting projects in local rugby.

From the very first conversations, it was clear that this is a club with ambition, great people, and huge potential. That’s something I wanted to be part of.

My focus is simple: build on the strong foundations already in place, create an environment where players enjoy their rugby, challenge themselves, and strive to improve every week. I want us to train hard, play an exciting brand of rugby, and develop a culture built on commitment, accountability, and pride in the shirt.

With three senior men’s teams, a Colts section, and a thriving minis and juniors setup, there’s every reason to believe this club can continue to grow and achieve great things.

Together with Hannah, we’re looking forward to building something special, creating an environment that players are proud to be part of, and helping Sefton Rugby Club continue its journey both on and off the field.

I’m excited for what’s ahead and can’t wait to get started.
