Rewinding allows motors to be repaired and returned to service rather than being scrapped and replaced, reducing waste and extending the lifespan of existing equipment.
Manufacturing a new motor requires raw materials, energy, transport, and production resources. By repairing and rewinding instead, businesses can significantly reduce the environmental impact associated with replacement.
It also helps reduce the amount of industrial waste going to landfill, particularly for larger motors and specialist equipment that still have plenty of operational life left in them.
When carried out properly, a quality rewind can restore performance, improve reliability, and support a more sustainable approach to industrial maintenance.
Sometimes the most sustainable option isn’t replacing equipment, it’s making the most of what you already have.

Servo motor repairs require far more than basic motor repair knowledge.
These are highly specialised, high-precision systems combining mechanical, electrical, and electronic components, all working together in a closed loop.
That means successful repairs require expertise across every area, from bearings, brakes, and rotor balancing through to encoder alignment, winding faults, connectors, PCB diagnostics, and electronic component testing.
If one part of the process is missed, faults can remain hidden, reliability suffers, and downtime quickly follows.
That’s why having a fully integrated repair approach matters.
With dedicated servo motor repair capability, specialist testing technology, and experienced electro-mechanical engineers, faults can be diagnosed accurately and repaired as a complete system, not as isolated components.
