TEMPERIUM TO RELEASE FINAL SINGLE BEFORE INDEFINITE HIATUS

Greetings Temperialists. Sorry we've been a bit quiet recently, but we've been dealing with a situation.

Last month, Luke informed us that he would be leaving the band and moving on to other projects. These things happen in bands and we wish him well in all his future endeavours, but it meant some very frank and honest conversations about the future of Temperium.

Luke's bass playing and songwriting skills were integral to the Temperium sound. While he is supportive of us finding a new bass player and continuing with the band, we find it hard to imagine Temperium without him. Even if we were to find another bass player of equal technical skill, songwriting ability, strong identity and willing to join a melodic prog-metal band (often last in the heavy metal pecking order), we would literally be starting again from scratch in creating a new Temperium identity. Which would require a lot of time, energy and money; none of which, honestly, we have right now.

We still have one completed single, 'Flux', which will be released on 9th September, after which the Temperial Vortex will close for the foreseeable future and the band will be on an indefinite hiatus.

We are very proud of this final single and we hope you all enjoy it as much as we've enjoyed entertaining you all these last 2 years.

Maybe we will see you Somewhere in Time, but it's farewell for now.
