We’ve had some really good sessions with the choir recently but tonights welcome sing song at Hope University for the Social Policy Association was spectacular. Thanks to Natalija and all at SPA for a great few days.

A great couple of days at the Museum of Liverpool and Africa Oyé with one more day at Oyé to go.

Singing with the Choir with No Name (Liverpool) on Friday was joyful and in the fantastic space of the Museum of Liverpool, celebrating not only Refugee week but continuing working together to promote understanding and cohesion.

And then to Africa Africa Oyé (Official) and a stand exhibiting art produced in the Art Class throughout the past year as well as pop up performances from the ALM Choir - still there today if you missed them.

And not forgetting our Big Give Small Charity week, starting at Midday on Monday where the Big Give and the Postcode Neighbourhood Lottery UK will double any donations made through this link. https://donate.biggive.org/campaign/a05WS00000CWXLJYA5

A big thank you to Jan for the photos

This weekend, we are so excited that our favourite festival is back in Sefton Park - it's time for the return of Africa Oye!

This year, we are pleased to be having a stall at the festival during Refugee Week. We'll be displaying an art exhibition with paintings on the theme of 'Courage' and celebrating Africa, we'll be inviting people to write notes on our message tree for World Refugee Day, and we'll be holding an information stand, where you can find out more about what we do. Our famous choir will also be performing acoustic sets at our stall in the gaps between the main acts in the first half of both days, so get down early!

If you are hitting the park this weekend, swing by for a chat. And if you haven't got a ticket yet, there are still some available from the Africa Oye website. Everybody say 'yeah! yeah!' for Oye!
