Buy Me a Coffee is a really good platform that helps creatives fund their projects and themselves through an open DIY donations based funding source.

Use the invite link below to sign up x

as we're forever on the hunt for new funding sources for creatives, or even just a bit more financial freedom for those in creative/hospitality industries, here's one that has had rave reviews for a while now, and so, we've signed up, to see how it goes, and you can too.

allows supporters to donate whatever sum they like, OR, donate the price of a coffee (hence, the name, ''buy me a coffee'' duh.) to any artist, creative, etc to support their work at any stage through the creative process.

if you want to sign up to to support your projects, use this invite link to get exclusive benefits and freebies - www.buymeacoffee.com/invite/lowflyingliverpool

do you want to support us? it is entirely voluntary, we'll never push for donations, we've been doing this stuff for 15 odd years for free, unfortunately life is getting EXPENSIVE for us all.

(if we find any other creative funding sources, obv you'll be the first to know x)

not our usual content, but it’s a cause we care deeply about, as we know a lot of you do too.

Hope 100 Warrington is just one of the many incredible charities working towards ensuring our mental health is taken care of, with the same importance that our physical health is treated. Especially during month/week.

Please take your mental health seriously, reach out if you feel like you’re struggling, if you can. But more importantly, look out for changes in your loved ones.
A simple check in, “hi, how are you?” could help someone more than you think.

look after each other x

We see you. We’re here for you 💙

If you’re worried about someone or if you need help yourself, support is available. Visit happytoksad.warrington.gov.uk (🔗link in bio) for resources and advice.

so so so happy to see this launching today! many of us for years have been campaigning/protesting/begging for years to be able to put permanent dedications to our most loved music heritage spots, and to see them up at long last is a beautiful thing.

Introducing the ''Liverpool Music City Heritage Trail.''

Today is the launch of something very special and highly anticipated.
Created by a team made up of many local legends, including The Beatles Legacy Group, Liverpool Music City and many more Liverpool music creatives, the “Liverpool Music Heritage Trail” pays tribute to the venues and music hubs that made us into the world famous music city that we were, that we are, and will continue to be.

the trail includes our heritage hotspots such as The State, Cavern Club, Lomax, Erics, Probe, Cream, The Picket, Sink & more.

For more details and how to access to trail, here’s everything you need to know - liverpoolmusiccity.com/liverpool-music-heritage-trail/

“LIVERPOOL MUSIC HERITAGE TRAIL

Welcome to our music trail. A whistle stop tour through sixty years of Liverpool music, from 1957 to 2016.
The city’s relationship with music is deep rooted. And we’re pretty good at it too. The trail celebrates and explores just some of the places, sounds, stories and people that are embedded into our proud musical heritage, our psyche and personality.
Liverpool is a port city. The River Mersey is central to the city’s identity. It has shaped everything; from the communities that have settled here, the ambience and our attitude to life. Music is at the heart of that. The city’s great maritime age was between the mid-19th century and the inter war years. The built environment we see today is a legacy of that global influence and has a huge impact on the story of music in the city too.
Music scenes move quickly. We’ve selected twelve locations that have all bitten the dust but were shape shifters and disrupters: from grassroots, underground scenes to global phenomena.

Taking The Tour
Each location is identified with a Liverpool Music Heritage Trail plaque – you can’t miss them. Scan the QR code on the plaque for a short film clip about the location*.”

(*an online tour is available via the website link above x)
