The UK government is soon to end the Energy Bill Relief Scheme and replace this with the Energy Bills Discount Scheme on the 31st of March. Aimed to help non-domestic customers cope with the soaring cost of energy prices.

Overall the UK government is reducing the budget of these schemes from £18.5 billion (the Energy Bill Relief Scheme) to £5 billion for 12 months from April 1st 2023 (the Energy Bills Discount Scheme).

This means less financial support for non-domestic customers meaning the likelihood of your energy prices becoming more expensive in 2023 will most definitely happen!
