Mark and Jill: Some love stories are worth the wait…

When Mark came to us with a hand-drawn sketch inspired by his and Jill’s company logo, we knew this was going to be something special.

He told us how, seven years ago, he took part in the Harris Gin 1,916 Endeavour, investing in their debut malt whisky. As part of the project, names were permanently engraved onto the famous 1,916 Wall. Mark secretly purchased two staves – one for their children, and another that Jill knew nothing about, engraved simply with: “Jill, Marry me? Mark.”

Seven years later, Mark surprised Jill with a trip to Harris, where he proposed by revealing the hidden stave on the wall. As if that wasn’t enough, he had also secretly arranged for them to be married that very afternoon on the beach. 🤍

It was an honour to create both the engagement ring and wedding band for such a thoughtful and unforgettable story. We loved being part of such a unique and creative journey. Congratulations, Mark & Jill! 🥂
