Our Tuesday Leaders Gathering is just two weeks away and we are delighted to be hearing from Fernando Carillo, Vicar of Christ Church Peckham. His vision is to help people believe in Jesus, become whole and build God’s Kingdom in Peckham and beyond.

Since Fernando joined Christ Church in June 2024, the church’s Sunday congregation has increased by over 300%. Fernando’s own recovery journey has motivated him to support young people facing challenges such criminal involvement, family breakdown and substance abuse. His strategy includes: leadership training, community building and, as winner of the 2023 European CrossFit championships, CrossFit training.

Paul lives in Lincoln with his wife, Joy, and their two teenage children, Fin and Pops. A pastor with a background in mental health nursing, Paul is passionate about spiritual formation and shaping life around Jesus.

He believes in the power of intentional living; ordering our relationships, work, and daily rhythms in a way that reflects God’s presence. With a heart for helping people discover their purpose and live with passion, Paul is committed to guiding others toward a life of wholeness, faith, and transformation.
