Global Wellness Day

Wellbeing doesn't always come from big changes. Sometimes it's found in a conversation, a creative activity, time spent outdoors, or feeling part of a community. That's why wellbeing sits at the heart of everything we do at developmentplus.

We've just had a planning meeting for our summer events.

* Our month of 'Making Summer' activities return on 19 June. This is an opportunity to try some new art techniques such as willow weaving, needle felting and lino printing amongst others. You can find out more about these at https://www.lumina.uk.com/event-details/making-summer-2026

* For the first time we will be attending the Heckington Show on 25 & 26 July - the biggest village fair in the country. We will be their celebrating all things developmentplus along with some activities to have a go at so please pop in and see us.

* On 22 August we will be holding our annual ZENfest event. This year we have brought it to Lincoln and will be at the Arboretum all day. There will be sound baths, mindfulness, wellbeing talks and a whole range of stalls offering arts and crafts to buy. To book tickets visit - https://www.lumina.uk.com/wellbeingforall

Making Summer 2026 | Lumina Creativity and wellbeing in green spaces

As the weather cools a little, it feels like the right time to share that developmentplus is an official Charity Partner for this years Lincoln Santa Fun Run which takes place on Sunday 13th December. This is a fabulous event, supporting local charities, and tickets are on sale NOW! Should you chose US as your nominated charity £10 of each adult ticket comes directly to the charity.

developmentplus is a Lincoln based charity supporting people to thrive, and not just survive through advocacy, mentoring and peer support group work. We support rough sleepers (Project Compass), ex-offenders and people where mental health is their biggest barrier preventing them from moving forward.
