Exploring Yogis

So excited to have my article on restorative yoga published in The Lewesian magazine - thank you! I hope it gets more people interested in this physically more gentle but meditative form of yoga practice.
My weekly drop-in class is starting again on Friday 5th January 9:30am at The Southdown Sports Club, and my next restorative yoga workshop will be on Saturday 30th March 2pm at Lewes Unity Centre.
Strength+flexibility=mobility. I’ve always thought of myself as having weak inflexible shoulders, and it has always been a chip on my shoulders (pun intended). As a result, I’m always trying different yoga poses, stretches and exercises to strengthen and improve the mobility of my shoulders. Here’s one which I have a love-hate relationship with - it improves the mobility of my shoulders like nothing else, but I find it so hard! If you struggle with your shoulders too, give it a go - you will probably hate it, but you might learn to love it 😉
Just a little hip and shoulder movement for those slightly creaky joints in the wet and grey weather. A little un-choreographed but my yoga practice is not always flowy and graceful 😅 sometimes I just want to move.
I will be covering some classes at the Unity Centre in Lewes These will be a strong and challenging class (not suitable for beginners):
