Rotting timber cladding & old fashioned timber tiles that were letting moisture in and the cold through.

We stripped everything back and replaced it with Swish anthracite shiplap uPVC cladding - fitted horizontally this time. The original timber was fitted vertically which does not drain well and is exactly why it rots.

We also insulated behind the bay and finished the side cheeks with dry verge. Warmer inside. Better looking outside. And nothing that will ever need painting or replacing again.
