Portfolio landlord Khalil Ahmed Hussain is forcing his residents to move out in the midst of the pandemic - or face unjustified rent hikes.

ACORN members Lauren and Calum, along with other residents of the building, have been battling with multiple letting agents and their landlord for months.

🚨 After finding their flat advertised online without their knowledge, and complaining about endless issues regarding maintenance, they were given the Christmas present of a Section 21 ‘revenge’ eviction notice - alongside every other tenant in the block.

Now, T&K Properties, with the support of Haus Student and RNL Management, are saying Lauren & Calum can only stay in their home if they agree to a 20% rent increase - despite no improvement to their home, an 8% increase only just last year, and months of stress and disrespect!

✊ Please show your support for our members. Send Khalil Ahmed Hussain an email, demanding that the eviction notice is withdrawn, and tell him he can’t expect money for nothing.
