Paws - Dog Walking

lovely to be back around these chirpy chirpsters. i think we’ll just leave that absolute disaster of a ‘holiday’ in the past thank you very much ☺️ looking forward to some lovely dog walking weather this week!

an insight in to how our ‘holiday’ has been so far. we were meant to leave for the lakes cottage 2 days ago, but today is the first day i’ve got out of bed in 3 days. emma spent most of the jubilee weekend in bed, so is a couple of days ahead of me in recovery. it’s not covid, we’ve both tested, just a dose of the most poorly timed flu imaginable. we’ve both had high fevers, emma has a cough, but i don’t and i have sore throat, but she doesn’t 🤷‍♂️

no idea how/if i’ll even make the 50k event at the weekend. i would just like to feel normal at this point! fingers crossed for some speedy recovery over the next few days, or that’ll be 9 months of training and my longest holiday from work in 6 years down the pan.
