๐’๐ฐ๐ข๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐ข๐ฌ ๐š ๐ฅ๐ข๐Ÿ๐ž ๐š ๐ฌ๐ค๐ข๐ฅ๐ฅ ๐Ÿ’™๐ŸŒŠ๐ŸŠโ€โ™‚๏ธ and accessing swimming lesson is not something everyone can do.
Going to the swimming baths is not something everyone can do, and for many reasons, children and adults miss out on learning how to swim even if itโ€™s just basic skills, how to not drown !
Itโ€™s something that many of us take for granted. Yet so many people out there are scared of water, and wish they could learn swim but canโ€™t afford the lessons or find anyone to support them to the swimming baths.
Over the last 5 months myself and a colleague have been working closely with Leeds on a project to create accessible swimming lessons for adults with learning disabilities, and /or autism. This was after we identified the lack of inclusive swimming lessons around the city that really zoned in on non swimmers and didnโ€™t cost a lot of money .

Today was the launch of that lessons and itโ€™s gone swimmingly ๐Ÿซฃ๐Ÿ˜‚ itโ€™s been perfect ๐Ÿฉท everything we envisioned.
This is just the start I hope. And hopefully a start for the city making it more accessible for more people.
I am definitely proud of being part of that movement today.
