Owen is out doing contracts today and all winter we've had a guest staying in one of our rodent boxes.

He wasn't doing any harm and we left him alone to stay safe and warm.

Last month we thought he had moved on but today he was back at "home".

Today, we attended a private residence in York to conduct a CCTV drain survey for a fellow pest control company. Their client had been experiencing a persistent rat problem in their loft for several years.

Our survey revealed three disused pipes beneath the property that had not been properly capped by the builders.

As you can see, rats have excavated debris from beneath the floor of the property, and loft insulation has also been pulled into these lines.

Next week, we will return to the site to perform the necessary repair work to prevent future rodent ingress.
