Everyone looks for the knockout punch… but real damage starts at the base. Heel low kicks to the thigh and calf breaks everything down—mobility, balance, and heart. Keep attacking the legs and the rest will follow. You don’t always need to touch the chin to finish a fight… sometimes the KO comes from the ground up.
Most people don’t lack power in their body kick—they’re just not using their body properly. The power does come from the legs and the ground up, and you generate more of it from the turn. You need to pivot on the ball of your foot, rotate your hips through the target, and let your whole body flow into the strike. If you’re just swinging your leg without that rotation, you’re losing most of your power. Fix this one detail, and your kick will feel completely different straight away.
