🥳 Huge congratulations to Skye Noble on successfully completing her Level 4 Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship with an incredible Distinction in her End-Point Assessment (EPA)!

⭐This is a fantastic achievement and a real reflection of the hard work, commitment and determination Skye has shown throughout her apprenticeship journey.

What makes this success even more inspiring is that this wasn’t originally the career path Skye applied for. Her journey is a brilliant example of why recognising potential and creating opportunities matters - there are many different routes into successful careers beyond traditional pathways.

👏 We’re also proud to celebrate an important milestone for CML, as Skye becomes the first person to complete the Quality Practitioner Apprenticeship within the business.

A huge thank you to our Compliance team for the support, guidance and encouragement they’ve provided along the way. Achievements like this are always a team effort.

🎊 Following the completion of her apprenticeship, Skye will now move into the role of Compliance Co-ordinator within the team.

👏Proud to recognise some excellent teamwork from the CML team, which occurred near Langton, during Storm Dave while we were awaiting our planned line blockage.

🌳A substantial tree fell onto the Down Stoke line and was struck by a train, leaving it unable to proceed with approximately 50 passengers on board.
At the time, the Network Rail Mobile Operations Manager was working alone and his team were already stretched. Without hesitation, CML colleagues Joseph Murphy, Alan Tamanis and Josh Brown immediately stepped in to provide support.

🛤️They assisted with clearing the line and, most importantly, ensured passengers were safely supported and returned to the station. Their professionalism, calm approach, and quick thinking made a significant difference in a challenging situation.

📃In recognition of their actions, all three have since received Certificates of Appreciation from Mark Osborne, Network Rail.

⭐A sincere thank you and well done to Joseph, Alan and Josh - a real credit to the team.

🐣Over the Easter weekend, the CML Structures team successfully delivered the installation of Ivy Lane footbridge for Network Rail during the blockade on the Barnham to Bognor Regis line - a major milestone for the project.

🏗️The works involved a carefully planned sequence of rail-based logistics and lifting operations, culminating in a complex tandem lift where two Quattro Plant rail-mounted cranes worked in unison to safely position the main span. Precision, planning, and strong on-site ex*****on were key to success.

⭐Alongside the main span, the team also installed all trestles, landings, and staircases within the possession, adapting to real-time challenges while maintaining complete control throughout.

🤝This achievement highlights the power of collaboration across our supply chain and stakeholders, ensuring the works were delivered safely, efficiently, and with minimal disruption to the railway.

👏A huge thank you to AW Group, Quattro Plant Ltd, Loca Construction Ltd and our entire team for making this complex operation a success!
