Oak Staircase installation for a lovely client in Trewen a few weeks back. The staircase was made in house by Cliffords Joinery ltd and installed by us.

⚒️ Old staircase removed and site cleared.
🪚 Stringer line mapped and cut for a tight fit in to the upstairs panelling and skirting.
🪚 Stairs fitted to newel then levelled.
🪚 Dowels applied with grain match then chiselled / sanded back with 320 grit for a smooth finish
🪚 Wall panelling, skirting and dado rail cut to size for snug fit of the landing newel.
🪚 Landing hand rail and bottom plate measured and cut for a clean return into the wall.
🪚 Spindles and spacers cut to size and top spacers applied with 2nd fix nailer then filled with an oak sawdust / PVA mix to match wood.

We are now officially City & Guilds certified for our carpentry works. So if there's any 1st or 2nd fix carpentry work that you want doing feel free to drop us a line.

In progress painting job in Altarnun.

➡️ Cleaned with sodium hypochlorite and pressure washed.
➡️ Paint peel repair added to affected areas.
➡️ Waterered down paint and primer added to bare render.
➡️ Finished with 2 coats of Cornish Cream.
➡️ Soffit and Fascia sanded back and colour matched with the Mahoghany windows.
