Calvert Lakes

We LOVED our wellbeing walk yesterday at Dubwath Silver Meadows Wetland Nature Reserve - thanks to Lindy for organising! The team enjoyed time to slow down, learn about plants and wildlife, and connect with nature.

Although our instructors often bring our guests here, many of us hadn't visited before and were blown away by the natural beauty of this stunning secret spot.

It's accessible for wheelchairs, prams and walking aids, with short trails, boarded sections and plenty of places to shelter from the rain - which it did, a lot, in between bouts of warm sunshine and blue skies. Just another summer's day in the Lakes!

We came back to site refreshed and relaxed, and can't wait to see what the Wellbeing team has up it's sleeves next!

Visitors to the Calvert boathouse will likely remember our big pink duck, which featured in many of our lake games.

Sadly, we had to say goodbye to our old friend recently BUT one of our amazing guests sent us a BRAND NEW DUCK!
